God provides angels such as Dakota to help you through difficult times.
Dakota was my husband's ICU nurse on day shift. My very active 69-year-old husband and I were devasted by his stroke. Due to the location of the blockage, near the brain stem, we both realized the high risk for death. Dakota took time to explain medications, procedures and the disease process. One busy day, my husband asked Dakota to help him walk around the unit. During the walk, she made a beautiful and inspiring comment to my husband. He stated, after her comment, how much God has blessed his life. Some people will never realize that compassionate care can reinforce one's faith in God. My husband rededicated his commitment to Christ at our church. It was a wonderful time for our family and friends.
