I was admitted to the third floor for gastro issues. Due to the Covid restrictions, I spent most of my time alone, scared and nervous. I take medication for anxiety and found myself having a bad panic attack. I called Dan for my medication. He could tell I needed some company, so he sat in my room and talked with me for at least 20 minutes to distract me until my med kicked in. This meant the world to me; I'm usually the person to help others work through issues to feel better and it was so special because rarely am I on the receiving end of that type of kindness. Dan had a thousand other things I'm sure he could have been attending to, but he noticed exactly what his patient needed and acted immediately, and never made me feel like a burden. Thank you, Dan. That was the shortest panic attack I've ever had, and it was all because of your dedication and more importantly your caring nature. Thank you again.
