This morning my16-year-olddaughter received another blessing, thanksto DebbieElledge, Nurse Navigatorandthe "Look Good Feel Better" program! This program is dedicated to teaching women undergoing cancer treatment the basic beauty techniques to assist with enhancing their own beauty. My daughter is very adamant about learning to wear makeup properly. We contacted Debbie Elledge, Nurse Navigator, at St. Joseph's Hospital Highland and much to our dismay, the "Look Good Feel Better" program had just offered a class just a week before my inquiry. Debbie took it upon herself to contact the program and coordinate a special one on one session for my daughter. My daughter receivedtop notchtraining and hospitality, a bag full of goodies and even a wig. We are so humbly grateful. Debbie could have told us the class had just taken place and put us on a waitinglistfor the next class, months away, but she didn't. She went the extra mile to bring joy and happiness to a16-year-oldgirl, fighting the battle of her life. We will forever be grateful for the kindness and the amazing experience that she received. Debbie is an exceptional nurse with an exceptional heart.
