My sister was sent to ICU with a severely low Hemoglobin. She went unconscious with a dropping blood pressure, agonal breathing and unable to get a body temperature. Debby started IV medications and oxygen within minutes per physician order. This was due to her extraordinary nursing skills and compassion for her patient. Debby showed courage to fight for her patient. Her integrity is for all to envy. Thanks to her my sister is alive and at home today. Thank you Debby our family will never forget you.

My Aunt was seriously ill in ICU. She was in dire need of several units of blood, but due to a rare antibody in her blood from previous transfusions, tying and cross matching was taking an extra-long time. As the minutes passed her condition became more serious. Debby was there caring for her and recognized the need to do something soon to save her life. She made an emergency call to the physician and obtained permission from the family to go ahead with the transfusion. She remained at my aunt's side monitoring and caring for her until she was out of danger. My family and I know that if it wasn't for the over and above efforts of Debby that day my aunt would not be alive today. We all are truly grateful for her great nursing. Debby is to be admired for her nursing skills and work ethics. She is very knowledgeable and diligent in her efforts. She embodies a professionalism and nursing excellence which should serve as a modular example to her peers and coworkers. She is conscientious and thorough in her duties and leaves no stone unturned when it comes to the well-being of her patients.

My mother was in ICU because her hemoglobin continued to decline. My mother became unresponsive to verbal and physical stimuli. Her blood pressure dropped severely. Debby used her critical nursing skills along with her nursing assessment and evaluation of my mother's condition and was very aggressive in making the appropriate phone calls to the physician. My mother lived thanks to Debby.

I do not remember what happened to me, but I want to thank Debby for saving my life. My family said she did a wonderful job.
