Deb cared for me when I was hospitalized for RSV/pneumonia. I had a previously bad experience being hospitalized during COVID and I was very apprehensive about having to stay in the hospital again. She put me at ease by going above and beyond and anticipating my needs. Deb thought of extra things like getting me extra honey for my tea to help with my cough. She suggested a muscle relaxant for my bad cough when it was too soon for more cough medicine, encouraged me to move, helped me with my shower, brought extra blankets, and educated me about medication side effects so I wasn't surprised when the potassium burned. It was obvious that she truly cares for her patients, has excellent knowledge, and enjoys her work. She met all my requests with a positive attitude and always ended with, "Is there anything else?" Deb is a shining example of a quality nurse all patients hope to have during a daunting hospital stay.

Deb takes the time to listen and explain what she is doing and why. Being a patient can be scary and patients can feel vulnerable! When you have a positive, passionate nurse like her who puts the effort forth to make patients understand the what and why with care and compassion, it makes being here less scary. We have gotten a lot of care with hospital stays over the years and Deb stands out! Please recognize her wonderful bedside manner! She is an extraordinary nurse!
