... I wanted to let you know about a wonderful experience I had at your hospital. I had come to the Emergency Department to visit a friend who had been brought to the hospital the night before. It turns out, she had gone home, but a nurse, Dee Dee Mays took one look at me and told me to sit down. She then said, "You are not leaving!" Of course, I told her I was only there to visit a friend and since she was not there, I was leaving. She was then insistent that I not leave, that something was wrong as I was struggling to breathe.

I sat for a few minutes and they took my pressure and it was obvious something was wrong. The next thing I know, I am being admitted. Unfortunately, they did find something serious which I might not have caught for weeks or months. The point being, they would not have caught it at all if Ms. Mays had not been so insistent. She was so kind and observant. I have her to thank for being so gentle but insistent that there was something wrong.

I wanted to write and let you know about this wonderful person who is your employ and to let you know how observant, kind, and insistent she is and how lucky you are to have such a gifted person working for you.
