Destiny made a meaningful difference in my care for the three shifts I was blessed to have her as my nurse. From the moment she came into my room for the very first time, her caring, loving, compassionate spirit shown through. Her diligence in making sure she took accurate notes on my past and present health records was amazing, and believe me when I say that I have had some major detailed health problems. For the shift changes, she took her time relaying details, dates, etc. to the oncoming nurse. She always had a pleasant attitude from the start to finish of every shift (and mind you she is currently 8 months pregnant). A specific situation came up where a doctor came into my room to open up my skin on my belly so an abscess could drain. My husband was out of town so he could not be in the room as support to help me get through this time. The doctor came in to start and Destiny made sure she was in the room with me and the doctor. I cannot begin to tell you how much that meant to me. Believe me when I say that in all my years, I have never had a nurse like Destiny. Destiny is an Extraordinary Nurse and there is no doubt about it that Destiny is a DAISY Nurse. CRMC is blessed to have her. She is an outstanding role model for your nursing community.
