I nominate Diana Oliveira for the DAISY Award. Diana demonstrates exemplary nursing practice every day and for this she should be recognized. She works very hard on the Magnet preparation for Family Medicine and takes an active role in educating staff on Magnet principles and prepares them for the upcoming visit by the Magnet team. She works primarily in the Nurse Work room where she goes the extra mile every day to accommodate patients' needs. She is kind, courteous and professional in her daily nursing practice. She always has a positive attitude and is a pleasure to work with and I truly enjoy being part of her team. I feel she is a wonderful nurse and she deserves to be recognized for this.
