My husband has been a patient of PIH Whittier for years and has been under the care of many nurses but one particular nurse from the ER stood out for us. Twice in the past year, my husband was Donald's care and we have nothing but good words to say about the level of care that he has received from this nurse. On both ER visits, my husband was very ill, critical even, but Donald maintained composure and most importantly delivered compassionate care.
My kids and I would like to thank you for being the nurse that you are. You have no idea what kind of impact your care has made to all of us. PIH is very lucky to have you on their team. As a fellow nurse, I tip my hat to you. But as a family member of one of your patients, I bow down to you. Thank you and I hope your colleagues there in PIH know how valuable you are.
