Donna allowed me to open up and share some things. She told me that she felt like I needed more help.
I was going to be discharged from the hospital and Donna seemed very concerned that perhaps I wasn't ready. She came and spent some time with me acting as a counselor might. She asked me what had happened to me. She allowed me to open up and share some things. She told me that she felt like I needed more help. She encouraged me to get additional therapy. She also told me how I could get more help if I needed it, which proved to be very helpful. She also did the most informative medication education groups every day. She got us to really interact and talk. Donna's nursing and counseling skills were instrumental in helping me to get more help after I left the hospital. She is a stellar nurse who is an asset to the unit.
