One who deserves top recognition is Dorine Omondo. We had a lot of fun together. She made me laugh and I made her laugh. It was a wonderful experience.
I had a beautiful room right at the nurse's station looking over the lake. There was this electrical problem they were having with the bed. A handyman came and said he couldn't fix it until they got me out of the bed. Dorine got me out of the bed and in the chair so I could look out the window. While the handyman was fixing the problem the Doctor came in. I told the Doctor that Dorine was dangerous and that she accused me of breaking the electrical. We just laughed and laughed. We were talking and laughing about everything. Dorine was just the best.
Dorine wrote up my discharge for me. She wrote that it was a pleasure taking care of me. My doctors said they had never seen anything written on a discharge paper like that. It meant the world to me, especially never being in the hospital before. You could tell the staff was very busy, but they never rushed me or anything. I felt like I was still their only patient when they were with me.
Dorine is just absolutely wonderful. I even kissed her on the neck when I left.
