I have had multiple families and patients tell me how great and kind he is. In the ER, it is difficult to build those relationships, but Edgar always finds a way.
Edgar is one of the best student nurses I have had the pleasure of helping educate. He goes above and beyond each day he is here. He is always eager and willing to take any learning opportunity available. He is respectful to each person he encounters. He exhibits exemplary professionalism in all aspects. Edgar has outstanding people skills. He builds a relationship with each patient, family member, and coworker he comes in contact with. Each time I have worked with Edgar, there has not been a single instance in which I have asked him to do/help with something, and he wasn't immediately there. I have had multiple families and patients tell me how great and kind he is. In the ER, it is difficult to build those relationships, but Edgar always finds a way. I cannot say enough good things about him. He will be an exceptional nurse and coworker. Edgar definitely deserves this DAISY and many more to come.

Edgar is a very kind respectful young man! He is always standing and willing to help anyone out, not just his preceptor! You never have to tell him more than once to do something and likely he'll be doing what you needed before you even ask! I have really enjoyed working with him in the ED! When working in an ED you never know what you will get through the doors. Edgar handles it with grace and compassion! He will make one excellent nurse!

Edgar has shown amazing patient care to every patient he has helped provide care for. He has demonstrated multiple nursing skills with confidence and has been very attentive and effective. Edgar listens extremely well and learns very quickly. He will be an amazing nurse one day!

Edgar was a wonderful student. On our very first day together, he was so curious and wanted to learn as much as he could. I let him do everything possible so that he will grow more confident in his skills. I wanted him to learn as many skills as possible. By our last day together, he was doing everything with confidence. He was kind to all our patients and showed them respect. I know he is going to become a great nurse!

Edgar was a great student, and his experience as a CNA helped tremendously. He anticipated needs, and I never had to ask for help. He already had it done and didn't complain once. Not to mention, he was so nice and brought me and my coworkers goodies! I actually didn't dread a 12-hour shift when I knew Edgar was working with me that day.
