Eliza is a warm, caring, genuine person and reflects all of the characteristics of a nurse. This was my third trip back to the hospital as my condition has not resolved. This was my second trip to her floor and while I was feeling a bit despondent, she greeted me with such a warm smile and immediately recognized me. She was very attentive to all my needs and we worked together like a well-oiled machine.
Eliza always had my medication on time and correct. When she passed my meds for the first time, she remembered that I like my bedtime meds a little delayed, so I am able to watch the news. That to me was impressive. She answered all of my questions to the best of her ability and always went above and beyond for me. Not only did she meet all my medical needs, but she met my human needs as well.
I had to buy some compression stockings and Eliza gave me her opinion of the ones I liked and went so far as to help me measure my calves by being creative with some wound measuring tape. She listened to me vent and never made me feel like I was wasting her time. She is the epitome of a great nurse and person as well. She touches lives. She touched mine and for the time I was here she made my stay more bearable. I am grateful that she was a part of my life for the brief time that I was hospitalized.
