The first DAISY Award Honoree for Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center was Emily Hosford, a RN in the NICU. Emily was nominated by a patient for her excellent care of a baby born 6 weeks premature. She was praised for her tireless care, handling a large caseload, and making her patient feel comfortable through the entire stay.
