From the day my husband was transferred to Lerner Tower 7 Emily showed true compassion toward him and the rest of the family. Her caring presence and optimistic attitude made her easy to approach with any questions or concerns. If she did not have an answer on hand she would be back within minutes to put our concerns at ease. She made herself available even of her shift was over to take our phone calls. She went above and beyond to give him excellent care. Emily was his nurse throughout his stay. She was always smiling and had an awesome attitude. Even at the end of her shift. My daughter stayed the night and Emily made sure she had everything she needed and made sure she was as comfortable as possible.

Emily was very compassionate and a true blessing to have as a nurse. She never once acted as though we were bothering her with our many needs and questions. There were times we could tell she was busy and if she didn't have time to finish explaining something she would always come back and finish until we were comfortable with the answers.
