There was a patient that had been in the hospital for over 2 weeks and was going to be discharged. She was unable to find the shoes she came in with. She was upset because they were her only shoes. Emmy had an extra pair of shoes in her locker that were just her size. She gave her the extra pair of shoes. It was the sweetest thing ever. Emmy connects with every patient she encounters. It is an honor to work with her.
