She had a great bedside manner and made us feel as comfortable as possible in a difficult situation.
My wife was 27 weeks pregnant. She hadn’t been able to keep anything down for 24 hours. She had came to the ER earlier in the week (Monday), where she got fluids and some anti-nausea medication. Well, that worked for a day, but we had to come back on Wednesday due to the fact that my wife wasn’t able to hold anything down still. We came back to the ER for the second time in a week. She hadn’t kept anything down in now 72 hours. Once we were checked in and brought back to the ER room, Gayle was quick to assist. She was able to get the IV in the first try despite my wife’s severe dehydration. She made it so easy. She was very communicative and was quick to update us as the ER was communicating with the OB. She went above and beyond for me and my wife, and we felt genuinely well taken care of. She had a great bedside manner and made us feel as comfortable as possible in a difficult situation. We felt like we were her number one priority although I’m sure she treats all patients the same. Thanks, from the bottom of our hearts, for all her hard work and for keeping us informed throughout this scary situation.
