Grace is always there to make me laugh, but most of all to make me feel safe.
My cancer journey began 11-16-17. So, as you can see, I’ve been on Chemo a long time. I was given 3 to 4 years to live and I’m going to prove them wrong. I will fight till the end just because I can, LOL! I won’t give up easy and for that I want to thank my “Angel”.
I entered the Chemo Room a long time ago and just had a port put in and two Nurses couldn’t put the infusion needle in. They put me back in a chair and asked this “Angel” to come help. I knew then I wanted her to help me! Grace came over and 1-2-3 it was done. I have relied on her for everything since that day. Grace is always there to make me laugh, but most of all to make me feel safe. She explains everything so it sounds easy and always helps me. She knows what I need before I ask. Sometimes she feels like a mother to me, sometimes like a sister or a friend to me, but most of all she is my “Angel”. Even when I’m home I can reach out to her for comfort or if I have a question or just worried about test or anything that I need. I can count on her always. She has never let me down and if she can’t help me she finds out what I need. I just want to say: “Thank You, My Angel “Grace”. She’s hard on the outside and gets stuff done, but she’s really soft and sweet on the inside.
I thank God for “My Angel”. Lots of love to Grace.
When she walks in the room and pulls the curtain her wing-span is six feet wide and she doesn’t even know it. Again, thank God for my Angel!
