My daughter who is 15 and I were in a car wreck. We both had injuries, but I was more concerned that she would be okay. Due to my daughter and I both needing to be seen, Gretchen made sure to put us in rooms across from each other where we could still see each other. When the doctor came in to speak with either of us, Gretchen would make sure to explain everything that was happening with my daughter to me. I knew she was well cared for even when I wasn't able to be at her bedside. When she needed to go for x-rays, Gretchen was very calming and helped relieve my daughter's anxiety. She held her hand and explained what would happen. When the results came back for everything, she made sure to explain everything, and had the doctor come in to speak to me as well. Although my daughter and I were in separate rooms, Gretchen made it seem seamless and smooth, as if we were being cared for at once. Gretchen was very good, patient, and kind, and spent lots of time making sure my daughter and I were both okay. She had great communication. I appreciate all she was able to do for my daughter and me.
