Haley was my husband's pre-op nurse. After he went for surgery she clocked out and on her own time she found me in the cafeteria and spent 40 minutes with me. She let me know what occurred after I left pre-op and about a situation with him that I was not aware of that needed my attention since his dad died of colon cancer. My husband had some of the same symptoms and hadn't told me about them. I knew she had to come back to work that same day (she works nights) but she still took the time to talk to me. She told me she was going to get me a sheet on a bowel regime and names of PTs that work with this problem. To my surprise, I woke up in the morning there, sitting on his counter in the room, was a card from her and a cute bendable flower! I had all the information she promised. Haley went out of her way and I would like her to be acknowledged. Thank you so much for really caring about me and my husband!
