I knew she would advocate for me, respect me, and provide the best care possible
I got an emergency cerclage placed. Hannah came in, in the middle of the night, to be my nurse pre-op and post-op. She reassured me the entire time and took such good care of me.
[A few days later], my emergency cerclage started to fail, so I was going in to have another procedure done. She just so happened to be my nurse again, and wow, what relief I felt! I knew I was safe in her care. She held my hand and treated me with such care and respect!
My son sadly passed [two days later]. I was back in the OR [after two more days] to have a transabdominal cerclage placed. Again, Hannah was my nurse. And again, I felt such relief. Surgery is a scary thing, and I truly felt comfortable being in her care. I knew she would advocate for me, respect me, and provide the best care possible, and she did all of those and more!
The day my son was cremated, I saw her at Target. She recognized me through a mask; she truly cares! I will forever be grateful for meeting her.
