Hayley demonstrates patient care and co-worker interaction with outstanding qualities, such as a very bubbly and positive attitude. If I had to describe the "perfect nurse", it most certainly would be Hayley. I have a very complicated situation and my case raises judgmental treatment from staff, but not Hayley. Hayley saw me for the first time this morning and realized the amount of pain I'm in, considering I have nineteen incisions and some need to be packed which is highly painful. She has been the only nurse I've had to truly get the pain under control in collaboration with the chief resident to ensure adequate pain control. I can now say, despite surgery with the nineteen incisions, I am comfortable. I owe my comfort to her. Hayley exudes so many qualities that there isn't enough paper to write them down, all of which make her a perfect nurse. I just overheard her with her other patients and she carries the same demeanor with others. I hope Kettering Medical appreciates Hayley as much as her patients do and feel honored to have her on their staff, as she is truly irreplaceable. She's an absolute keeper! She has made me want to open my curtains while here and let in the sunshine.
