Whenever I said that I couldn’t hear what she was saying, Heather would stop everything and take two steps towards me; look me in the eye and repeat what I missed.
I remember a young nurse who stands out. She had her name, Heather Strauss, written across her face shield. Whenever I said that I couldn’t hear what she was saying, Heather would stop everything and take two steps towards me; look me in the eye and repeat what I missed.
