Beaker "Go Live" was hard on everyone! Not only did Holly have a positive attitude and keep the staff motivated, she helped keep a patient safe. At the start of shift, the patient was several hours overdue. The Lab was very backed-up and was not available for some time. Holly drew the patient herself and handled getting the reporting done and sent, so I could start shift. The value ended up being critically high! But because she had drawn and run the labs, we were able to take appropriate interventions so no harm was done to the patient. She even got a second ignipuncture on the patient to check and make sure we remained on the right track. She kept the unit running smoothly and kept the patient safe. It was a pleasure working with her!
