Jamie was amazing while I was delivering. She praised me and made me feel like I was doing an amazing job. She took care of every little and big thing we needed along with keeping the mood light.

When I came into the hospital I was absolutely terrified. I thought I was coming in for a "false alarm visit" as most first time mom's do. Jamie came into my room right when I got there and reassured me that everything was going to be okay. She checked to see if my water broke (which it had), and told us we were going to be staying. I was in complete shock and in a state of panic. Jamie never left my side. She was there with me through every contraction, the epidural, and every panic moment. I was terrified to go into labor but she helped make it bearable and not scary at all. It felt like I had one of my best friends caring for me, not a complete stranger/nurse that I had just met. Her shift was over before I had our little man, so I never got to properly thank her for everything she did for me.
My husband and I appreciate and absolutely adore all of the nurses we met, but Jamie went above and beyond for us. My only wish is that she would have been our nurse again before we left so I could have properly thanked her for making my experience so incredibly amazing! I'm no longer scared of labor and delivery because of her. She was a complete professional while also making me feel as though I was a part of her family.
