As an employee of UTMB, I wanted to acknowledge Jamie during one of the most stressful events in my life. My 11-year-old son was in an accident and had a tib/fib growth plate fracture. Initially, I took him to another UTMB campus to get diagnosed and treated. I reached out to Jamie because she was charging in the League City Campus that weekend. Jamie went above and beyond to assist this scared mom and relieve my anxiety. Jamie helped me with figuring out how to get a bedside toilet, shower chair, and wheelchair on the weekend. Jamie called multiple times to check on my son's pain control and my mental state. Jamie went over and beyond during his LCC ER visit and made sure he was well taken care of and comfortable. Jamie is an angel when you are at your worst. I would love to say “Thank you” to her for being wonderful to my family and me during our time of need.
