Jeff is an amazing OR nurse. A patient came in for an emergency case. Jeff went out of his way to help care for them. The patient came by ambulance and went to surgery very quickly. The brother had no other family member with him. Neither the brother or patient had a car or wallet with them. Jeff selflessly gave the brother money out of his wallet to get something to eat. Jeff knew the patient would be in the OR for a while and worried about the brother in the absence of other family members. This is the exact behavior that is part of Piedmont Fayette's core values. We are lucky to have such a compassionate and dependable nurse on the OR team. Jeff deserves to be recognized for all he does for the department.
