Jenna's clinical skill and especially her compassionate care exemplify the kind of nurse that our patients, their families, and our staff recognize as an outstanding role model. She consistently meets all of the following criteria: Compassion, Excellence, and Integrity. Jenna's dealings with me as a patient were highly professional and very courteous. She took care of seeing that the food, medicines, coordination with the PT and OT professionals were on time and that the exit wheelchair was promptly delivered. But, maybe more than all of that, she was careful to speak directly to me, slowly and clearly, so that my poor hearing was addressed. That is a trait many fail to realize in dealing with those of us with hearing problems. These hearing problems become comprehension issues resulting in possible errors in executing important directions for prescribed therapy and the accurate use of medicines. I left with a very positive impression of this exceptional nurse.
