I had been discharged on a Friday and had to return on Sunday. Jennifer went the extra mile to make sure I had the correct special order bed which was essential for my comfort. She made sure my pain did not get out of control by ensuring timely medication distribution. She did a great job to keep my pain level at a minimum. However, most important, was the "ride in the breeze". This required extraordinary effort to organize equipment and staff so I would get outside. It has been 40-50 days since I have felt the sun and breeze other than brief periods during ambulance transfers between treatment and therapy facilities. It was THE BEST DAY I have had during my illness.

I was having a very hard time being away from my 8 month old little girl and husband. I was crying my eyes out uncontrollably and Jenni comforted me and gave me a hug saying it was going to be okay and that they know I love and miss them and it was ok to let my feelings out. She is very understanding and caring not only for a nurse but as a wonderful, beautiful individual. She has a beautiful soul she is very much deserving of the DAISY Award.
