Kind & compassionate. Comforting and calm in all situations. Willing to explain things to us so we could understand what was going on. Asking her the same questions over and over again. Exceptional people skills. Role model. Super person makes everyone happy.
This 2nd nomination comes from Jennifer’s nurse manager, Pam Redpath:
Jen Gomez is an especially amazing nurse. She recently lost her father and still comes to work and gives each patient the same level of excellent care and compassion. Co-workers love seeing her come in because she is the consummate team player.
As Jennifer’s manager, I can tell you that she has modeled the best behavior on our unit since day one!
