Jennie provided help and expertise far beyond all expectations to help my mother in her recovery. The most important service she provided was to begin the process of physical therapy the moment that my mother was beginning to recover from her illness. She recognized when my mother needed to rest and when she could begin to work to rebuild her strength and the capability to care for herself, specifically ensuring that my mother began her recovery as early as possible.
Jennie's primary responsibility was to help my mother recover physically, but she also worked diligently to restore her confidence and dignity. From helping my mother to relearn basic daily tasks to regaling her with stories of Jennie's world travels, she worked to rebuild her spirit in exactly the manner my mother needed.
Every moment I saw Jennie at Seton, she was helping, healing, and teaching. All of her patients are probably just as appreciative of her efforts as I am, but I could not go without making sure that Jennie was recognized for her specific work with us and her general character and integrity.
Thank you for your wonderful facilities and nursing staff, but most of all, thank you for having Jennie in the right time and the right place to help my mother.
