Jen went above and beyond by creating notes on our door, and on paper in the room about the night before.
Jen’s bubbly personality uplifted our broken hearts in the hardest time of our lives with our newborn in the NICU. Jen was compassionate with us while we grieved the diagnosis of a heart defect and down syndrome for our baby girl. She took the time to provide resources that I was curious about, and she eased our minds with helpful medication information. She instantly made us smile with her personable, yet professional attitude. Her positivity and reassuring guidance helped to ease our minds and hearts as we first learned that we could intentionally trust the NICU nurses while we leave them with our daughter in the evenings to get our sleep.

Jen went above and beyond by creating notes on our door, and on paper in the room about the night before. Also, she crafted us some amazing scrapbook pages for some major milestones of a few of our daughter’s “firsts” here in the NICU. She was always so excited to see us when she began her shift, or when we came in through the door. It really brought smiles to our faces, and her positivity was contagious.

She showed professionalism with other nurses as well, and always made us feel like the transition to another nurse went incredibly smooth by including us in the conversations for the updates. Jen is a spectacular NICU nurse, and truly has a heart of gold for these newborns. Thank you for hiring such an amazing team player and compassionate, caring nurse to take care of our sweet girl and all of the other babies just like her.
