We have met some amazing people and nurses, but Jen has stood out from the first time we met her. G is over 90 years old and fell and broke his hip. Due to his other complications, G was not someone who was a great candidate for surgery. We struggled with this, and always, Jen was professional, answered all questions or asked the doctor to speak with us. She was more than compassionate with us and G, she was patient and kind. Jen went over G from head to toe and always made G feel important. What a difference G has made in our lives and what a difference kindness, caring, compassion and excellent nursing Jen has made in our lives. When you combine all the important elements of nursing: integrity, knowledge, "a feel for things", compassion, caring, multi-tasking, and smiles, you have an excellent nurse named Jen. G's doctor was amazing. The nurses and CNA's were also amazing. G's care was always done with his needs being #1.
