It is with great pride and heartfelt gratitude that I nominate Jean Brian and Jennifer Wubbel for the DAISY Nurse Leader Award in recognition of their outstanding leadership, support, and exemplary collaboration during our recent unit transition to another floor. Throughout this challenging period, Jean and Jennifer demonstrated an unwavering commitment to me as her fellow Nurse Manager, embodying the true spirit of nursing leadership and teamwork. They often checked on me and offered assistance, even when the move didn't affect them directly. Their actions were not just supportive, but making a significant impact on my ability to successfully navigate the complexities of the move. They understand the importance of unity and collaboration among departments and leaders, consistently going above and beyond to foster a spirit of teamwork and mutual support.

On moving day, Jean and Jennifer's caring nature was evident to all on 10-5/52. They provided not only moral support but also practical assistance, including bringing food for my entire team. Their thoughtfulness and kindness boosted our morale and kept our spirits high, even during the most stressful moments. Jean and Jen's actions spoke volumes about their dedication and genuine concern for their colleagues' well-being.

As a fellow nurse manager, I am incredibly proud to call the Unit 45 leadership team my colleagues. The support has been invaluable to me and my team. Both good hearts and unwavering faith in our collective mission have left an indelible mark on all of us. They have set a standard for leadership collaboration and caring that we all aspire to emulate in my team.
