Jessica was recognizedby a former employee of Richland Manor, a CILA home here in Olney. Jessica originally cared for one of their residents who was a patient on Med/Surg. Jessica went out of her way and purchased a "Frozen" themed blanket and activity books for the resident to make her stay more comfortable. When the resident was sent back to the home on hospice care, Jessica came to see her before she passed and while there asked if she could get a list of items the other residents needed, she wanted to purchase them some Christmas gifts. Not only did Jessica (along with two other co-workers) purchase gifts for the other residents, they also delivered them to the home for the residents on Christmas Eve. Jessica also purchased a stereo for the home in memory of the resident who had passed for all of them to enjoy. They are all very thankful for the kindness shown to them by Jessica.
