I was admitted to the hospital in extreme abdominal pain in a very foul mood and highly stressed. Jessica used her knowledge to recommend resting positions and medications that would lessen my ailments while awaiting treatment. Every suggestion she made, I took and they all worked perfectly. She knew exactly what to do to help me every time I asked, and every medication she administered was done in a very careful and compassionate manner. Even when I was in immense pain. Jessica did everything she could to help. As I recovered, her brilliant personality came to the forefront and I found myself laughing out loud in spite of my pain. Many nurses I've met don't let you see their human side, and it affects your relationships with them. Jessica is genuine, caring, and friendly. And, most importantly, she's honest. (This will hurt, this one sting for a while) it doesn't seem important out of context, but not being surprised by more pain really helped me cope with all of it. Even when I hurt so badly I couldn't breathe, Jessica made me feel better. I am genuinely sure I have never had a better hospital experience. I can honestly say I will miss Jessica, her bright outlook and winning personality really touched me!
