Jill "OWNS IT" in Cardiac Diagnostics. She is accountable for the area she works in. She always has a smile on her face and seeks out ways to make our department better.
The other day there was a homeless man getting a nuclear stress test. After scanning him, it was discovered he had bed bugs. The manager and team lead were both out that day and Jill took charge of the situation. She followed the protocol, got rooms shut down, fumigated and cleaned. She personally went and retrieved clothing for the homeless patient since she had to take all his clothes. She made sure he had transportation to get to a shelter and fed him before he left. Once the patient was taken care of and safe, Jill had to call patients to reschedule next day exams since the room was shut down.
Her ability to remain calm, critically think and truly care for patients is admirable.

Jill works daily to ensure quality healthcare is given to all of the patients in cardiac diagnostics. Even though she has no title, she is a leader. She has developed different tools and processes that improve our patient/family experiences. She developed a tool to do chart audits and then meets monthly with peers to address any quality issues identified. When there is down time, she works on filling the schedules up from our workques. Jill treats all she encounters with respect and others respect her. She is reliable, accountable, truthful and honest. Jill's demonstrates uncompromising honesty and integrity in all she does. You will not here Jill say "it's not my job"; she encourages all staff to own it! Jill is a high level performer who is committed to excellence, follows through on all commitments and communicates promptly. She anticipates the needs of others, ensures timely and efficient service. Jill's behaviors and attitude demonstrate her belief that her work serves a greater purpose.
