Jordain always takes the time to know her patients on a personal level and leaves a lasting impression.
Jordain is one of the kindest, most compassionate nurses I know. Jordain graduated in 2019 and began her career at WMH. I have had the pleasure of working with her and watching her grow into her role as an RN.
Jordain always takes the time to know her patients on a personal level and leaves a lasting impression. She embraces challenges and learning opportunities, and never complains about assignments. I would like to share a few stories about the extraordinary care she gives her patients.
I remember one day walking down the hallway and saw Jordain giving a back massage to an end of life care patient who was experiencing a lot of discomfort.
On another night, Jordain had several admits and one of her patients was very anxious. Jordain stopped what she was doing to go sit with the patient and talk her through her anxiety. She stayed by the patient's side until she felt better.
Other comments from patients include: "she always has a smile and cheerful attitude"; 'she is the best nurse I have ever had"; "she always has time for me"; "she has so much patience and understanding"; "am I the only patient she has?"
In addition to being a strong patient advocate, she also is a great team player and often helps her co-workers without being asked.
