My mother was admitted for treatment. She was scared to death as she always had anxiety over hospitals and doctors. Many nurses were very kind to my mother but Julie Keturi went way over and beyond her job duties as a nurse. She was very patient with my mother, and took her time getting her comfortable at the new “scary” place. Julie showed true compassion to my mother. When she was leaving a shift she said goodbyes, and when she was scared Julie’s personality calmed her fears. Her personality shows that she has true compassion for what she does, not just bedside manner that comes with being a nurse. At stressful busy times, she always had a smile and never forgot my mother. When doctors came in to talk to my mom Julie came in, listened and explained what the doctors said when they left, after I explained sometimes we couldn’t understand them. She was very kind to our large family, answering the thousands of questions we all asked always with patience. From my mother and our family we want to give a huge thanks to Julie for everything she did for the 2 weeks we stayed at Sayre. Thank you Julie. You truly are a godsend!
