Kaitlin O'Rourke is everything you could want in your child's nurse. She is warm, fun, considerate, and thorough. She is always thinking ahead and looking at the big picture, while staying grounded and present in the moment. My daughter is sad to see her leave at night and so happy to wake up to her in the morning. Kaitlin made sure my daughter safely had fun on this stay while getting her up and moving. She brought so many smiles and laughs. She spent time getting to know my daughter, and after learning that she loves to sing and dance, she coordinated a dance party that raised my daughter's spirits like only a dance party with nurses can. She also created a scavenger hunt on the unit to help my daughter get exercise without even noticing that is what she was doing. Kaitlin is authentic in her work and her love for kids and nursing is obvious. We feel very lucky to have had her as our nurse for three days.
