We had a 4 month old arrest come in. The mother and brother were with the patient in the trauma room. Kathe removed the 12 year old brother from this very difficult situation and took him down to get him a donut. She took him to her office to eat and then to the Glennon waiting room to watch TV. Knowing that this was a tragic situation for anyone, she knew that it was even more traumatic for a 12 year old to watch his baby sister receiving CPR. Kathe does a lot of behind the scenes work that often goes unnoticed. She is a tremendous asset to our team! This is just one of the many things she has done and continues to do daily.
