Since the first day we met Kellie, she had a welcoming smile that did not change each and every time she came in the room. We were fortunate to have Kellie for three of her shifts. She became a part of our family in just that short of time. She is a kind, gentle, passionate, understanding, and empathetic individual. She knows how to be a nurse and explained things very detailed and took into consideration my suggestions on our needs. I had an especially bad day because of a former life experience; my daughter was asleep, and I was crying and having a hard time. Kellie walked in to care for my daughter, and when she was done, she looked over at me and realized I was crying. She walked over and asked if I was ok. I told her my situation, and she looked at me and knelt down and with so much compassion, she spoke kind words to me and made me feel better. Not only did she care for my daughter, she never left the room without making sure I was ok and didn't need anything. At the end of her shift, she always made us her last report to give so she could spend a few extra minutes with us. We were very fortunate to have her all three days. Kellie is a true DAISY Nurse.
