Kelly understands the role of family in her patients’ care. She received a card from a family member who experienced the death of a loved one. The card read,

“Although you were always the consummate professional, we could see in your face the emotional connection you have with your job. At times, you had all of us looking to you for the answers. You never let us down and always made us feel comfortable with the difficult decisions we were faced with. We know that God puts people in our lives for a very special reason and for that we are thankful to have known you. Thank you for being our rock.”
