As a patient with multiple rare and chronic illnesses, I often visit the ER. Most of my visits require placement of a feeding tube, IVs, and close monitoring. Kelsey, who has been my nurse in multiple situations, always provides an abundant amount of love, safety, and compassion. Complications from my autoimmune conditions can make for troubling times, but Kelsey never loses sight of how to best help me. She is a nurse who has made an extraordinary impact on my life in and outside of the hospital. Though my body is often a lot of chaos to handle, Kelsey is a remarkable nurse and person.
