Kim is constantly going above and beyond for her patients. She cares for them both physically and emotionally. Recently, we had a patient who had been admitted to the hospital for a number of days. The patient kept having various complications and it was definitely a taxing stay for the patient. Kim got the patient all ready, cleaned and smelling great, hair brushed back, bundled her up in blankets and took her downstairs to have a nice drink from the coffee cart and sit by the fire. The patient was positively glowing when she got back to the unit. The patient told Kim that she was "making a memory." She was one of the happiest patients I have ever seen in that moment.
