Kim is committed to doing what is best for the patients and nurses at Saint Barnabas Medical Center which makes her an extraordinary leader. She is eager and dedicated to incorporating change on our unit and she truly listens to the staff on what is working and what is not. Kim has created an environment of mutual respect and models ethical and compassionate behavior on a daily basis. She makes herself visible to both shifts. Not only does she listen, but Kim follows up in a timely manner. Kim's enthusiasm and support have helped the Family Centered Care's Unit Based Practice Council incorporate many best practice changes and become one of the most active in the hospital. Through her hard work, dedication, and guidance, Kim supported a staff member's idea to reach out to the community which resulted in a successful Baby Fair.
