On Christmas night, my father was brought into the ED, and Kim was his nurse. I want you to know that from that night on, I will have a better understanding of what family members go through, and will understand all that our staff does to ensure that our patients are at ease. Kim explained all that she did thoroughly to my father, and to me. I have worked with Kim since she came to our ED, but I have never appreciated her like I did that night.

Though I lost my father on New Years Day, I will forever be grateful to Kim.
