Krista is an exceptional nurse in the MICU. She is an incredibly helpful, strong, knowledgeable patient/nurse advocate. Recently, I had a very sick, task-filled patient for admission and Krista was by my side throughout the night. She did vitals and assessments of my other patients while helping with my admission and taking care of her own patients. She frequently brought me supplies, communicated with the doctors and made her presence known in case I needed anything. No request was a burden to her and she kept her usual upbeat attitude that she's known for. Coincidentally, the same thing happened with a different patient on the following shift and there was Krista….lending a hand in any way she could. Krista is a true team player in the MICU and her experience, willingness to help and reliability lend well to anyone working with her. If ever something goes wrong, I know it won't be so bad when Krista is working because she'll be by my side.
