From my first day to my last, Krista Pagliarini has always shown genuine compassion, care and concern for myself and others on the unit. She always has a smile and kind words for me that put me at ease and helped me to feel more calm, confident and cared for. I feel better after having her in my treatment team.

Krista saw when I was having a really hard time and found me in my room. She listened to my concerns, helped me calm down and reassured me that I won't always be so depressed. The compassion she showed kept me from having a panic attack. She also shows genuine interest in her patients, teaching us some origami and helping us laugh.

Krista deserved kudos for her performance as a supportive member of a wonderful team. She shows empathy during a difficult period and suffers her share of emotional abuse from patients because of her understanding in the face of our misunderstanding. Her actions speak louder in helping to face our demons. Her kindness and gentleness in taking vitals must be commended.

Krista has gone above and beyond to give extraordinary care to me as a patient and to other patients. She always follows the rules and has always done as much as possible to make sure I got what I need, like getting my blanket out of my car; calling the doctor promptly to get my meds, etc.
