There once was a nurse named Caili, who did DKA protocol daily.
She did it so well, that I'm writing to tell, and send this off into the mail-y!
"My Caili", was my main nurse during a DKA, ICU visit. My case is very complex and complicated. I am a type 1 Diabetic who can't afford healthy food. Caili pointed me toward services. I am bipolar, and she showed me where to call at 3 am. I have psoriasis and we were able to get through a photoshoot with compassion and smiles. I saw Caili work flawlessly with her team. She has a rare blend of wit and grit, a servant's heart, mercy and relatability, efficiency, accuracy, and thoroughness. All while giving brief updates to my out of town family. Caili puts the I-see-you in ICU!! She saw my heart when I was sick. I-see-you, too Caili!!
